French Market Baskets

I remember buying grocery items in a little store near Nice, dropping oranges, and being told by the proprietor, "take a basket, Madame, that's why they are there!"  Everyone uses market baskets in France, to collect groceries, go to the beach, store toys or carry their dogs.  Our large baskets are sturdy and generous (big enough to fit a toy poodle).  And yes, we actually do use them in France, in the local market at Limours; look at all the fabulous goodies it holds!  Best of all, they reduce the plastic which finds its way into the environment, and may be washed gently, and re-shaped when drying.

We also have matching "Mommy and me" small baskets.  Don't let their small size fool you; even adults may find them useful for a quick trip to the store or post office.
